I believe P0603 is a generic code used by the scan tools. The code 0603 related to cylinder #6 is the ECU code specific to the Max. They may have the same number, but different meaning.

I don't think measuring your car MPG on only one tank of gas would give you a good indication of your gas mileage. I think 5 or 6 tanks would give you a more reliable gas mileage number.
