I paid $65 for one at Autozone. There is a place here in Houston called Nissan Unlimited. They sell used ones for 30-40 per.

Yes that sounds like a sensor issue. I ended up replacing (3) sensors before I was smart enough to buy "code reader".

I then ended up replacing the VIAS which fixed my issue.

There is supposed to be a way to reset it in case it's running too high but I haven't been successful at doing it. Mine is running around 1000 RPM once it's warm.

I would go and purchase a cheap OBDII Scanner, even though Nissan uses a CAN I system. You can get one for $50.00. Connect it to your car and see what it finds. You can get them at any auto parts...
