Hey guys I need help, about a month ago I was driving my maxima and I stopped on a red light and when it turned green i tried to move but my car didnt moved. My car didn't shut down but no gear locks in neither the reverse. Last year I rebuild the transmission and it just expired the warranty. Any help will be appreciated PLEASEEEEEEE....

I am having the exact same issue. My regular mechanic told me the transmission would have to be rebuilt. ($2400.00)
I went to a transmission specialist. They said that it was an electrical issue. He replaced a "relay" but the issue came back. He said it may be an ignition switch or something else but not actually the transmission.

im having the same issues with my 2006 maxima SE, I was at a red light, it turned green and next thing I knew, my car was not moving in any gear, if my life counted on it. but if my car sat over night, started up cold it would go into gear until vehicle warmed up. im not sure if my issues are camshaft sensors, or valve body/solenoids failures?
I need help really bad. thanks everyone.

I would go and purchase a cheap OBDII Scanner, even though Nissan uses a CAN I system. You can get one for $50.00. Connect it to your car and see what it finds. You can get them at any auto parts place.
See what codes it finds and then replace those sensors it says are bad.
