If you don't like how your deck sticks out on the double-din ISO mount re-drill your brackets to line up flush with the edge of the trim.

Day 6 - heard my first squeal after some hard braking (two hard stops from ~40mph) - after taking a break it was quiet again.

So I bought all the stuff you suggested CMax- installed it the way you suggested as well- bought the full hardware kit (I guess that is how the shims are sold) which included new clips (top & bottom)...

When you refer to cleaning the caliper I'm guessing you're referring to the side that doesn't have the piston just the two "fingers"...
