Just use Nightshades. It's spray on tint. Much easier. Each coat you apply makes it darker, you decide what darkness level you want.

And the headlight originally worked when I reinstalled. It has to have something to do with the condensation after the fact.

I completely opened my headlights (baked them) and didn't get a good reseal. I'll be repairing shortly.
