The only thing you risk with frequent washing is introducing swirls. The water and car soap will not damage the paint. A dirty mitt will. Do you use the 2 bucket method?

For the gauge cover I spray on the MF, then wipe. For my tinted windows, I spray on the window, then wipe. I want to avoid any massive overspray.
