Nope, yours is different. As for my self, i have a RMS leak as well as the mentioned TC cover oil leak. Either you deal with it and periodocally add oil or you shell out the cash.

Oh yeah, thanks TunerMax :) That was the problem. It said DOT4/5 compatible on the bottle. That's what caused all the ruckus.

I'm referring to the aluminum UPPER oil pan that is between the engine and the steel(black) oil pan to which you're probably reffering to. The TC cover has a gasket too IIRC.

Getting a used low-mileage OEM hitachi from a junkyard is almost guaranteeed to last longer than any rebuilt/am one.

Doesn't leak in the summer though
