The valve is the thing that is bolted to the evap canister. There a two 10 milimeter bolts that attach it to the canister. It has one electrical plug that you have to disconnect.

I just replaced the purge valve and evap canister and that fixed the problem. I had to replace the canister because one of the bolts that attaches the valve to the canister broke off in the canister...

I had the same problem with both of my rear doors tree years ago. The latch that keeps the door secured to the body of the car needs to be lubricated on the inside of the door as well as the outside....
