Yes I've ran a setup like this and had it built in a night. If so a engine swap you still have do all that then switch bunch **** over on motor. Motors are basically identical. Internally.

The vg30e blocks are all the same. You can't just drop Z31 motor in. Oil pans are different intakes will work with mods. Fuel rails need some work. To my knowledge I'm the only one ever run the Z31...

I shortened my water pipe and changed it quite a bit also gave me alot more room. Of course my manifolds somewhat in the way.

Went back and looked at some z31 alot them making 260 and mid 300s torque with t3. But ya 11.8 afr I wouldn't push it any more than already is.

Right where I would expect it to be get that cranked up to 12-14 with a controller and you will easily see 350hp and high 300s torque.

I can edit your bin and email it to you then just you can use flash n burn software to burn the eprom. I never could find any software to read them right why I used nistune to edit them.

yes it is. I need order another socket to switch my nistune over. If doing eprom get you a zif socket 20x easier pulling eprom to burn it.

Yes a replacement maf direct bolt on. If you have a code thrown you may have to do reset on the ecm just unhook the battery for few min.

I don't see the 88 maxima ecu listed on Nistune may not be supported. I would stick with the z31 ecu if it was me. Here is a screenshot of a j30 maxima stock timing map and then a z31 turbo timing...

Was pretty much direct swap. I believe I had to just slightly enlarge the alignment pin. Wouldn't quite slip on my flywheel with paint etc. Did use the maxima throw out bearing.

Looks like you need use a z31 ecu. It can be any z31 ecu just be sure to match the injector drivers to you impedance ecu. z31 had high and low impedance. I would recommend using a 87+ turbo ecu...
