Use some nice leather conditioner, and reapply 2-3 times. Then do the same thing a few moew times for a week and you should have nice soft leather again. Just remember to keep conditioning it.

yeah, from Nissan you have to order the whole control arm, but you can buy some replacement ball joints like Moog that can be pressed in and then held with a clip ring.
