Well, i tried to smog it with just the rear cat (magnaflow-hiflow cat), i got a HC-110ppm. I went a bought a cal spec cat for 300 bones and got that # down to 60. I finally had to take my headers...

Yah, it has to be cali spec. It's Freaken 400 bones for a cali spec converter. I actually found a couple of places that actually sell it....

Need to smog my car and my hi-flow cat doesn't work good enough. I need to borrow a cali spec CAT. The same cat is used from 1995-2001 maxima's.

Jayboy, putting on new pads will smooth it out a little, probably not enough to notice. Sounds like one of your calipers might be bad, sounds like it sticking. I just replaced the pads on my fronts...

Currently i have a CC from warpspeed it s magna flow hi flow CC. My #'s on the smog are twice the legal limit. The CC does not work good enough. The smog guy said to put the stock one back on.

I didnt think it would be the knock sensor, it it was it would retard the timing and go in safe mode as not to advance timing too far. I have seen so many problems cured by the infamous MAF.
