I wish you the best with maf sensor. looks like it is going to work, b/c in my case even after cleaning it few times I still could not get it to work correctly,
so I had to get one from junk maxima...

1996 FSM , on a/c auto amp diagram, leg #24 goes to ground- for
Canadian model only, means temp in C?, so for US model a/c auto amp
chip may have this...
