Thanks I'll give it a try. Also my Max hiccupped twice yesterday and I don't know why! Cruising on the Interstate at 50mph, let off the accelerator and hiccup.

Help with Camshaft Position Sensor

Anyone know of an easy and simple way to troubleshoot the Camshaft Position Sensor. Getting a P0340 code on bank 1 with intermittent engine cut out and stalling.

The temp gauge did not peg out and it does it cold and hot. The SES was on prior to the overheat. Not sure what code it's throwing now and will check tomorrow after work. The engine did get sprayed...

With a lot of traffic and clogged highways and freeways, here on Oahu, Hawaii, I'm lucky to average btw 18 to 20 mpg. That sucks because of the price of gas out here is so high!

My 2k2 was blowing only on position 3 and 4, replaced the fan resistor the other day and it works fine now. Got it for $38 and some change from the local stealership in Hawaii. Not too bad...

I'll never go back to the local dealer here in Hawaii! Took in my SE for a front end vibration and they told me it was my rotors. Worng! It was a bad front hub bearing.
