I've already put them on and there is no need to remove your axles. Dorman is the company that made mine. I can with bushes and ball joints.

The thing to know about bumpstops is that you get the right one for your car, ie. make, model, etc. Also know that the front ones are larger that the rear so don't go online and order four rears...

The bump stop helps to keep you from bottoming...

The bump stop helps to keep you from bottoming out on hard bumps in the road and the boot helps to protect your strut shaft and prolong it's life of the strut.
