I like the Sam Adams Winter Lager and the Octoberfest.
I'll only drink Natty Light after I've had a few good beers to make everything start tasting the same, though. And I drink Coors Light like it's water.
Heineken is good. But only on tap or from a keg IMO.

thats what keystone is for. the taste difference definitely warrants the price difference. (you can't argue with 3 30's for $30)
<---- would rather do work on handles of burnetts than drink natty

I just do Coor's when I want cheap beer.
Or PBR...being in college and having to drink cheap beer, you learn two things real quick...
You gain an acquired taste for cheap beer really fast.
40's are your friend.

Thank god for non-drinkers. My company just got a contract with Heineken and the sent every one of our employees a 24 case of Heineken. I now have 9 cases in my garage from people who either don't like it or don't drink. Party at my place?

every beer mentioned so far in this thread is ****.
sam adams was great before they got big and the taste changed. true story.
27 bucks around here buys 55 beers of bud heavy.
lite beer sucks

"This seller has not entered any compatibility information for this part." Meaning buy at your own risk.
I've been on a Corona with a lime kick for a while now. I don't know why...IMO, Natural Ice tastes the best out of all generic beers.

My beer math likes 24-pack sales of Miller Lite (4.17% abv). For generally available beers, I love me some: Dos Equis Lager (5% abv), Fat Tire (5.2% abv), Model Especial (4.4% abv), Negra Modelo (5.4% abv), Bass Ale (5% abv), Harp Lager (5% abv). For specialty or regional brews I love: Delirium Tremens (8.5% abv), Rogue Dead Guy Ale (6.5% abv), New Glarus Spotted Cow (5.1% abv).

I got a 10 pack of different beers from around the world for Christmas. I marked down somewhere which ones I liked so I could buy them in six packs if I ever find them. Pretty sure they're only sold at World Market, though. And they like to jack the price through the damn roof.
Oh. I had Red Stripe when I was down in the Bahamas, too. I liked it pretty well.

Not a big fan of real, real heavy beer. I like to be able to enjoy five or six without feeling like I'm going to explode. Just personal opinion, though.

good beer doesn't have to be 'heavy' fwiw.
all beer that isn't in a dark glass bottle vs clear/green fails...
Light-Struck
Light-Struck, or sun-struck, is a strong aroma that also imparts on flavor best described as skunky or catty, and is a sulfur-based corruption of hop flavor due to light exposure. Sunlight and particularly fluorescent light are particularly damaging to beer, especially if bottling with clear or green glass. Classic examples of skunky beer is Corona, Rolling Rock, St. Pauli Girl, Moosehead, Heineken, Becks, Samuel Smiths, and even Pilsner Urquell. Some breweries protect their beer against light damage by using preisomerized hop extract which are less prone to breaking down into skunky aromas than regular hop products. An example would be Miller Genuine Draft which comes in clear glass.
Prevention includes use of only brown glass bottles, and deny exposure of fermenting wort in clear glass carboys to any light. It is important for the homebrewer to understand that any exposure to light for a prolonged period of time, even if in brown glass, will cause light-struck conditions. Keep beer in a stable, dark environment while storing until consumption.
if you like oxidized skunky beer drink it. how Corona and Heineken ever got popular is beyond me. both tast like stale ****.
any beer you have to add fruit to = fail.

The skunky smell doesn't particularly bother me. Heineken really tastes and smells the same whether it's out of a bottle or out of a keg, and keg means no light damage. Although it is one of the beers I'd rather have on tap than from a bottle, like I mentioned before. Dunno why. Just preference.
Corona, I've never been a big fan of. All Corona is is a giant marketing ploy. Honestly, I'd take PBR over it, given the choice.
As far as one of my favorite beers I'll return to over and over when there's nothing left to drink, I love Molson Canadian. It's kind of cheap, but I guess I like it because it's what I grew up with my dad drinking. So it's what I had to steal out of the fridge.

You know what, I think I'll have a Samuel Jackson.

Seriously though, some of my favorites are Stella Artois, Mac and Jack amber, alaskan amber and hefeweizen. There are a lot of micro-brews in my area and I enjoy those. I also brew some of my own beer from time to time as well. One thing I've noticed about the pacific northwest, there are a lot of really hoppy beers. lol

isnt all beer cheap in the US?? Last time I was down there it was less than a buck a bottle for premium beer... its like $2/each up here... only the cheapest crap **** water is $1/ea
Have any of you guys ever tried kokanee?? Its canadian beer that is really really good smooth beer. Probably my favorite next to corona and MGD.
I noticed when I was in WA that the beer down there is really watered down... I bought a pack of MGD and thought it had about half the flavour of the same brand I buy up here.
Any of you guys actually have liquor stores? I couldnt believe that I was able to buy booze in safeway and walmart in the US... here you can only buy it in the liquor store.

MGD, Blue Moon, Leffe brown, Corsendonk Bruin, & Sam Adams Oktoberfest here...
We have a World Market, Wegman's, & Total Wine here, which all have good selections; so I get to try alot of different brands.

Corona blows. It's just an expensive light beer. Corona light? Don't get me started. If it's gonna taste cheap, better be cheap. Maybe that's just me. If I am gonna drink a fruity beer I'll go for magic hat #9 or ibita purple haze. Mmmm. But one of my fav.'s is smithwicks.

I'd really like to learn how to do this. I just can't ever find the time.
If I'm looking for a nice buzz, I usually start with a few mixed drinks. Preferably something that mixes well with rum or vodka.
Captain Morgan Spiced Rum + Dr. Pepper, ice cold.
I'm a big Skyy fan, too. It seems to take well to mixing no matter how much vodka you put in the drink.
Wine on the other hand will get to me, though. I have problems being careful when I drink it.

Keystone for the party. Landshark or Corona for relaxing. Gin and tonics for the bars.
As my safe beer for any occasion, Michelob Golden Light.
Of course, my friends and I tend to go on these Budweiser sprees every once and a while. It's not too bad, but I think I only drink the heavy because it reminds me of my family back home. Haha, good times.
Being in college has already killed my liquor preference. I hate most to all types of liquors, as everything makes me gag, even years after a bad experience. Haha, my fault.
As a matter of fact, I've been getting into more wines lately. I have no clue why, but its all good.
