You're not supposed to slam your brakes on snow/ice. Just about any tires will lose traction if you slam your brakes from 35 mph. Thank God they invented the ABS for idiots. :idea:

So you own a 4th gen right? The diameter is probably a little smaller than stock, but you'll be OK I think. Just make sure that the load rating is at least equal to stock or more.

I don't think you'd have any problems running the +36mm offset, with 235/40/18 and 255/40/18. But if you want to be on the safe side, you can choose the higher offset.
