When i turn key to second position(all lights light up on dash) there is a loud buzzing noise coming from engine bay it seems to be around the tranny area. It sounds i like a high power transformer....

All coils get on soild spark when cranking then it stops. I havent tested the ecm, do you think it might be the cause.

my tensioner is bad and one of the guides broke and it jumped timing, chain has wear. pump is good. but im gonna change it any way cause im am not taking that **** apart again lol. taking the cover...

Chain replacements....

I am replacing the chains, guides, cam gears, tensioner, and water pump. Do you know of any places i can get it for "cheap"? Keep in mind it must be good quality lol

Yes I did here some chatter about a month before. It got louder in time. I knew it was timing chain rattle. My friend had the same rattle on his 72 datsun
