I have Had My 4th gen since it came out. I had to change the starter at about 80k and the alternator at about 90k. Get a new alternator it comes with a life time warenty..

the evap box is in the left rear of the car opposite from your muffler its under the car so your going to have to lift the car or get down to see it

the clips are there to protect your rotor when the break pad is low the clip hits the roter and makes a clicking sound leting you know that the pad is low and its time to change them.
