The kelvin temp or "wavelength" as you say has absolutly nothing to do with hotspots.. its the fact that your headlight housing isn't designed for that type of bulb.. You could put 12000k into HID...

I think I would prefer them if the lense was clear but they had the IS300 yellow capsule inside.. They should look good at night while they're on, but during the day is another story.
