I would grease the brake piston and the brake pad backing plate where they have contact.
I would buy some decent pads and rotors set up like blank brembo rotors...

i have them on my car(2002 SE), no problem with...

i have them on my car(2002 SE), no problem with brake lines. part number for fronts are, BB3188 and BB3189. Rears are BU2493(x2).
