If you drained by removing the front plug, about half came out. The rest stayed in the torque converter. A power flush is the best way to get a full flush and that pure red color you seek.

I tried semi-metallic but had a one second delay before I would get full grip/bite and plenty of brake dust.

Was the correct torque applied to the bolt holding the UDP? Not enough torque may keep the pulley out a bit. I have no belt noise from my Cosmoracing pulley.
