lower rpm's doesn't always mean better mpg... too low of rpm's the engine will bog. when the engine makes the most vacuum that's when it's most efficient.

yea, mine is making the same noise. when the car was on a lift i grabbed my sway bar and shook it. there is a lot of play on the end links, so that has to be the problem with my noise.
