Fluid level is good and doesn't smell burnt. Think it is pretty amazing that the tranny just started to slip at over 200K. Either getting a rebuild since I am sure it is a matter of time before it...

I am thinking it may be the lock links in the shifter or the solenoid in the shifter... so the shifter may need to be repaired/replaced.

Anybody have any insight?

Well... here is an update. As I mentioned before the MAF cleaning for me with the CRC MAF cleaner did not work. My MAF was visibly dirty but it was/has failed.

I ordered and installed an NEW MAF...

the 2 sets of rimst that I had/have on the car: SSR GT1 and BBS RGR have always been lighter so I am not sure what heavier rims feel like...

I will think about it a bit and either get the 6thgen...
