I had the same thing. Bad fuel injector, stuck open. I would replace all 6 and be done with it. Car runs perfect now.

The raw fuel kills the O2 sensor. Had the same issue a with stuck injector. Replace the O2 and you are good to go.

Used Castrol and Mobil 1 0W30 oils on both my 4th gens. for many, many years. Ran the 95 GLE to 300,000 miles with no engine problems.
