Without knowing maintenance history and location, it's kinda difficult, but I'd say split the different. It's probably not gonna fetch 5500 anywhere but a stealership, but I'd say 3k is on the low...

Taking apart the dash to get to the cluster isn't hard. There's probably 10 screws in total. I've taken mine apart twice now, 1st to chrome gauge rings, 2nd for white faced gauges, neither time...
