Why is nissan trying so hard to make their CVT feel and sound like normal tranny ?
A 7speed tranny would improve driving experience a lot with similar mpg numbers.

Went to NY auto show today, maxima looks amazing, proportions and angles are right.
Doors were locked, interior looked good with diamond pattern seats (a must have).
Also noticed leather covered...

Still a very good looking stock car, 7gen was also good looking when released.

I'll be there sometime.
Also heard Infiniti will reveal a new QX50 at the same show.

next gen will be HYBRID. Nissan is concerned with CAFE not hp or transmission choices.
Maxima chassis is based on altima's so they will share the limitations of that platform,
= no awd.

I'm at 300k+ miles, original engine, still pulls strong and starts everytime in winter. Invest a little in your car and you can get another 100k miles out of it.

4gens are super easy to break in and hotwire, they dont have chipped keys(exc.99) and factory alarm is a joke.
