good points...he could change the plugs to copper for a little more 'go' in the low end. if he wants more low end, put the stock intake back on after getting the y.

the rear beam on the maxima, by design is inherently an anti-sway bar. that is why nissan can claim that the car comes with front and rear sway bars.

stabilizer bar = anti-sway bar = sway bar
the rear beam suspension is considered a sway bar by design. people add rsbs to the max to reduce the roll the stock sway doesn't.
probably confused...

the resonator from the MAF to the throttle body...
the resonator from the MAF to the throttle body in the 2000-2001 muffles the sound better than that in the 4th gen.
that and the design of the intake manifold quiets things down on the 5th gen.

disconnect the battery, step on the brake pedal for 30 seconds or so, then leave the battery disconnected overnight.
that's what i did when i got a SES a few weeks ago...went out the next morning...

www.motorvate.ca has pics on how to remove the front brakes. the rears are exactly the same. 14mm bolts on the caliper and 17mm bolts for the torque member.
my finding in removing the rear...
