On obd2 vehicles, the ecu will test some of the emission systems when driven a certain way. It will then store in its memory that it completed the test. Because you reset the ecu, it lost the memory....

Disconnect the pcv hose on the other end, not from the valve and remove the one bolt holding it down. Then you can pull the pcv valve off along with the hose.
