I just bought a '97 I30t, and the two rear windows are reversed on my driver's switch panel - the left rear switch operates the right rear window, etc.

I chipped a couple teeth on my flex-plate when trying to get the main pulley bolt off. :mad:
Long story short, I got a used flexplate for $65 and did the work myself. Was fun! :goofy:

I think I posted this earlier in the thread, but I could tell that my car is stronger on the low-end after installing the pulley. It's an Auto and seems to shift at lower revs under the same driving...

Got my tranny pulled today and the new flexplate put on. Everything is fine now! Just $65 for a used flexplate - and 7 hours worth of work (2 people)!!!

We first put my stock pulley back just to find out I had the same problem. It turns out I chipped some teeth on my flex plate when trying to keep it from turning to get the main pulley bolt off...

I use Shell as much as possible because I have a Shell Visa card that gives me 5% back. It seems to run great - can't tell any difference between Shell and BP, Exxon, Texaco, etc.
