Is it possible to just change the cushions and leather from the 5th gen frames to the 4th gen frames? And the seat pan with its cushion and leather onto the 4th gen seat?

I had the same issue. It turned out to be my fans. I bought a new fan assembly and it worked like a charm. It's not a big deal to change either. Good luck.

I wouldnt have said it better!! I recently removed mine. I used the double sided tape and definitely double check that the needle moves freely. Make sure you take note of where the fuel needle is set...
