are you saying the car was driven for an unknown period of time with no oil in it? if it was driven more than like 5 minutes at any sort of speed i'd be shocked if the entire transmission is not...

Yep. You'll get like 99% of the oil out no matter what way you do it.

I wasn't aware that nissan had no published interval for it. 50k is safe and even overkill especially if you use good oil....

the fill hole is probably 3/4" diameter.

i like and use redline MT90. truthfully you can put whatever you want, even incorrectly specced GL5, and you'd probably be okay for tens of thousands of miles, it's not like improperly specced trans...
