any idea how i could gut the cat that's circled. it is loose from looking at bore scope it is mostly whole. i believe it too be restrictive and don't want to pay for another if i don't have to....

you can use a 7/8 wrench to remove the o2 sensor....

you can use a 7/8 wrench to remove the o2 sensor. just make sure to keep spraying it with pb blaster over a few hours. also, if it won't bulge try tightening the loosen..tighten then loosen until it...

I got a ps leak too and replaced the pressure...

I got a ps leak too and replaced the pressure line before cleaning the area. gonna clean the entire bottom of the engine ps and tranny area then revisit.

pulled the front cat and this is what I found. got one coming so I'll update the thread once it arrives and I install. didn't...

I would bite the bullet and replace all 6. The 3 thats easy to get to is more than likely the only ones thats been changed for the same reason you mentioned.

hello, my ac compressor pulley is wobbling and I have to make a 500 mile trip this weekend so I am going to bypass it with a short belt until the spring.

installed a catted y-pipe and 4 new 02 sensors. what a battle...all bolts were rusted and breaking even after spraying them down 3 times with pb blaster for over 3 weeks.
