So it turns out the guy is a fraud. I finally got a reply from the guy who wrote him the neutral review on ebay. He said that the guy is a scam artist and that he sent him a cheap aftermarket MAF...

Why did you switch the new Duralast with a used TPS? Did it fail? Used sensors are always hit or miss.

I went with the Duralast TPS and so far so good. It comes with a 2 year warranty so you shouldn't have anything to worry about.

Try cleaning the throttle body, IACV, and MAF first. You should also check the TPS with a multimeter. All the instructions are in the "How to" section..

I bet something is staying on when the car is turned off. My friend had a similar problem with his car, it turned out that his trunk light was staying on all the time.

Thanks for all the replies. I finally got it all worked out. What I did was reset the ecm by disconnecting the battery over night. Next I reconnected the battery and turned the key to the on...

HELP

So I replaced the tps and adjusted it to 530 ohms at closed throttle and 3900 ohms at WOT. Now my idle is at 1700rpm. I even tried adjusting the IACV but that didn't help. What should I do?:confused:
