So the dealer replaced the control arm, including ball joint and it is still no better...going to have to have a shop reinstall the strut and spring, along with replace the bearing in the stock mount...

So i recently got a 2007 Nisan Maxima, and have replaced the suspension with kyb gr2;s and h and r lowering springs...i was getting some noise out of the front right, and got advise to change the kyb...

If you replace the struts do not use kyb gr2...the quality control is horrible. Your almost guarenteed to get a bad strut and have to install twice...

with the problomes i have had with kyb gr2's and mounts, i would ride the thing till its undriveable, and upgrade the entire suspension at the same time...this would knoc all the fixes and possible...

I would reccommend the dealer for $120 unless you have about an hour and want to tear the fron of your car apart...the drivers side is a piece of cake, passenger different story...

Oem mounta are actually a little bulkier than any aftermarket...they seem to work the best...wouldn't mess with aftermarket mounts as Maxima's are very heavy cars and the factory mounts are better...

I just intsalled kyb gr2's with h and r springs, and the struts are garbadge...im working on replacing the front right for the third time becasue kyb keeps sending me a garbadge strut...the other 3...
