Your best bet would be to post this on craigslist. You can find tons of mobile mechanics that would be more than happy to lend a hand..$...

I've heard of that happening in other cars due to a bad transmission mount, never in a 6th gen though. But who knows, maybe someone else who has had this problem will chime in.

Start getting quotes from your local transmission repair shops. It's usually cheaper if you source the part yourself and have it shipped or brought to them...

But to the OP, you can try getting the Grom BT interface. Kinda pricey but you get aux, bluetooth music streaming, and hands free calling capabilities. I have it in my 04 with the stock non-bose...

It's the axle. Unfortunately, this and uneven tire wear also come with being lowered for our cars. Just exchange it at the same autoparts store that you bought it from. Most come with a lifetime...

Checking in a year later to say that I'm still going strong on the autozone replacement. No need to pay double for the part.

Hope this helps anyone having this problem.
