Still have my 87 Max. 336,000 miles. Takes a lickin' and keeps on tickin'. Put another tranny and new heads in it a couple of years ago. Runs great! Will keep it as long as I can get parts for it....

Replacing front transverse link bushings-87 Max

You can get new bushings for the front of the transverse link at Advanced Auto Parts for $20.00(Moog). Just follow disassembly procedures in Chilton's Manual remove link and secure in bench vise....
