I had oil leaking in the same place as well as on the other side of the engine by the crank pulley. It was the oil pan gasket.

FIXED! It wasn't the ES bushings at all.


The noise was coming from the passenger side mount of the lateral arm where it bolts to the car frame. The problem ended up being my mechanical skills....

Creaking ES trailing arm busings

So I thought I was doing my wife a favor by replacing her leaking, worn out trailing arm bushings with a set of the black ES bushings. They went in without any drama from the write ups I found here....
