post your wife's/GF's hartbreaking complains about maxima

well, it is her car. Fully loaded 98 SE evergreen/tan. I always wanted her to feel that she is better then her friend's elantras, sentra, plastic CRV, civics...
i upgraded all trims to wood-grain , tinted windows (by myself)., silverstars lightbulbs, plus keep everything working. But she can still look around :
VW bettle why? because looks "cute"
some other younger sedans, like stratus,- why? "looks new"
i am telling:-"but there is nothing inside, weak engine, drum brakes..." -no answer

or she complain about power steering, because it is not that easy to turn like in other cars

or suspension is harder , not that comfortable, even after i swapped to GLE/GXE springs + new tokico blues - cant see much difference

also couldn't see much difference between stock 9004 and silverstar ultras 9007 mod

am i alone?

This, or that I paid more attention to it or talked too much about it.

Driving too fast, spend too much time and money on it, exhaust is too loud (it's not), lady on my pioneer in-dash nav is stupid, painting/dash kit/wrapping dash parts is a waste of time and money, paint is in terrible conditon, tells me I should have bought a car in nicer condition and one not as old. Probably a lot more too that she hasn't said haha but I don't care my Max is my baby

my fiance pertaining to my my gauge pillar - "are you going to keep those gauge things there?"

"why do you always pick me up in your car?"

"isn't there something ELSE you should spend your money on...?" my response, NO i just bought you a ring, biatch! (i don't actually say the word biatch to her face)

"how much more money are you going to put into your car?"

"don't you ever go on any other sites?"

all of which are in a wonderful complaining and annoyed voice.

more to come

Closest to a complaint came while shopping for a BMW DD yesterday, "This car isn't getting a bunch of mods on it, you have the Maxima in the garage for that"

Love it.

I was told while photographing it "You know its a Nissan Maxima right?" in a very condescending tone.

LOL - after 40 years of marriage, my wife called me from the dealership where she works and said "You've got to come down and see this Maxima we just bought at auction!" I did that and came home w/ a flawless 2009 Gen 7 Radiant Silver Maxima at $500 over dealer (auction) cost. She wrote a check for it and handled all the paperwork! When it needs service she takes it to work and has her buddies in service do the work and it comes back serviced/washed/detailed.

Maybe if you guys can just wait 40 years ....

Live long, and prosper

My ex-fiance always complained that I spent more time with Alice then her. The only time she didnt complain about my obsession with the cars was when I was fixing up a 91 SE for her.

PS: I'm Nozamas son, mom doesnt complain about our cars, as long as she has some of her garage space. Well, that and she wants the kit off mine because it makes her driveway ugly.

"why do you need new rims? you already have rims" and of course "why dont you buy me new shoes?" "every time you have money you spend it on your car."
