Alignment problem?

Took my car to get an alignment the other day and it still pulls to the left. WTF!! Why is I doing this. I checked the air pressure and it's right. I called NTB and they told me just to bring it back in and they'll check it out. Just wondering did they just do a crappy job or could this be something else?

Yes to both possibilities. You can have the alignment specs dead on and the car will still pull to the side due to other things. Any defective suspension part such as LCA bushings could cause this. If the guy doing the alignment doesn't notice a bad part, he does the alignment based on how the car is sitting at that moment. When you move the car, the alignment is off again.

Well I had an endlink welded a little bit to keep it from moving around in the hole bit didn't think that would do any harm because its not suppose to move anyway. Taking it back in the morning and having them check it out again.

Did they give you a printout of the numbers for the specs they aligned to? Make sure they're in spec.

Yeah they gave me a print out. The only thing that is not in spec is the SAI secondary angle (whatever that is) and it's only .1 above the max specification. That shouldn't make much of a difference should it?

Have you tried swaping the tires around? A tire could look fine but easily cause this.

it could also be due to how the road is sloped. I had the same problem but once i found a flat piece of road it tracked straight.

I've had alignments done where the car drove worse then before I brought it in. Take it back, have them look it over several times and get it right. It sucks that they can't get it right every time, but it happens...

Took it back and they said I had a little play in my inner tie rod but they said they adjusted it to compensate but it still pulls to the left. Guess I need to get under there myself and check the tie rod

First step is to change tires around to eliminate that. If it still does it, then most likely a suspension problem, like worn out bushings or tierods. The people who do the alignment should check all that. No use to align a car with bad suspension. I guess they just want your money.

Would an incorrectly installed spring/strut top hat mess with the alignment? I put new springs on the front and when reinstalling I didn't pay attention to see if the "out" on the top hat was facing outward.
