I too have an oil burning issue and drive equally crazy, high rev, and relaxed... So idk if it's driving style or just an early vq35 production problem.. I changed the rear vc to a 2004 vc, rubber...

Yea dealers are def a rip off... I worked at an Audi dealer and their reasoning is that they have huge $$ amounts of overhead costs... Makes sense from a biz p.o.v. But the consumer is getting hosed...

I'm about to replace mine and my mechanic/friend told me only to replace the slave if it needs it & not waste the $$$... But then again your car may need it and same goes for the pilot bushing
