had 420 code for 2 years, kept erasing and coming back every 500miles or so. tried seafoam through the brake booster line, and erased the code never to appear again. That was over 60000 miles ago....

Had my passenger cv shaft replaced. Instead of trying to find motul to top up the half quart i threw in lucas synthetic oil stabilizer.
Thought it wouldn't hurt, man wasn't expecting the shifting to...

had the clunk for 3 yrs, replaced mount still there, finally replaced ball joint and cut off drive side endlink that had never been re-greased..........voila.
drives better than ever over 4+ years...

if your changing the chain, might as well put in a new motor. Probably be the same price lol. No need to do the chain, thats why vqs are great. Just make sure your on top of your oil level.

My gauge has been f"d for 2 years. I just fill up every time and reset the trip. It's great for mileage because I seem to pay attention to my driving habits more. I've been averaging 780-800km...

Unfortunately, you'll need to replace your valve covers with 04 ones (gaskets too) test your coils-goodbye po300.

5w30 anything and a quart of Lucas does the trick for me! and virtually no cold start rattle because it sticks to the innerds when cold.

Seems fair, my 03 6mt titanium with 95000miles cost me $7500 over two and a half years ago. Had to do plugs and 04 valve covers as usual though.
