Headlight R34 clear plastic discoloring/cracking

Whats up peeps,

Just wondering if any of you with r34's experience the clear plastic discoloring/cracking? Is it a good idea to sand plastic? (I looked on the stickies write up on the how to's......

I'm having trouble starting my car. Battery is good everything electrical turns on (headlights, stereo etc..)...

I noticed about 2-3 weeks ago that the radiator cooling fans dont turn on, even after driving for more than 20 minutes. When I get to a stop, the car smells like its burning up.
