My 02 SE started doing the same thing. Every once and a while it would only click when I wen tto start it. Then after a couple tries it would start. Once it got to the point I had to bang the starter...

The OP pics are before the car really settled. Your springs are probably sagging a bit due to age and performance wise it leaves a lot to be desired. My 02 SE sits on H&Rs on all corners and Tokicos....

Another P0455 thread....

Well I got this code 3 times since Feb. Each time it would come on after driving on the freeway for at least 30 mins. Then after 4 or 5 restarts it woulod go away for a month. So I never worried...
