Fix for MAF causing RPM surge, P0100 and possibly P0325, P0440

Based on posts pointing to bad solder joints inside the MAF...
I decided to hack into my 96 Maxima MAF.

I pulled the panel off the side. I expected a circuit
board to come out with it.

How about the fuel pressure regulator?

Is it a good idea to just replace that while you have access to the fuel rail?
Its another $80-100; I don't know if these tend to last the lifetime or not...

I chose replace because the net cost after core return is so darn cheap.

Some things I learned. A channel wrench worked great as a lever to pop the seals out of the tranny. ...
