First thing I'd do is disconnect the rubber hose to the fuel rail and see if there is gas getting to the engine.

Change the oil. Pull out all the spark plugs and crank out all the water. Start it up and hope you don't hear any funny noises.

The knock sensor is only suppose to have one wire going into it and the other wire wrapping around that one wire.
