My blinkers don't work anymore when use the lock button on my remote. Why????

When I hit the lock button on my remote my car still locks but the blinkers don't blink at all in the front or the back. They do work when I cut the turn signals on or the hazards so I'm confused....

Well, I couldn't figure out a way to tighten anything to keep it up. Anything else? I know I can tape some plastic over it but that's my last resort.
