I may need to take mine in then. It sometimes shuts off sooner than 10 minutes.. sometimes it won't even come on at all if it's not super cold outside... really irritating.

yea they actually made more significant changes in 2k2 to the i with the i35.. the new leather especially. I fell in love with that the moment I touched it...

As some of you may or may not have noticed the i35 took off the key option of opening the trunk... arguably, not really all that useful in 2002 since pretty much all cars have some means of remotely...

nah don't be too hard on yourself. The timer has a mind of its own... i've yet to figure out what tells it to go on/off... doesn't seem to be based on any consistent time or temperature.

yep! it's cake to install. If I remember right, since you don't have it, I think there's an additional step to remove something.... but it's way easy. I think Courtesy or DaveB has them cheaper than...

Mine doesn't if you exit and arm the alarm... It's somewhere in the range of 45 to 60 seconds in the auto position.

It does say that somewhere, but that's only under certain circumstances. In most cases, when you leave the switch in Auto, turn off, then exit the vehicle, the lights will go off after about 45...

really? I never had that problem in my 2k Max, but the i35 yea... because the passenger headrests, and I think the platform back there is a little higher to accomodate the sunshade.

see if the light goes off. If it was just the gas cap being loose, according to others who have had that happen, it will go off after driving a few drives.

The filter supposedly helps reduce odors too among other things. It really isn't that hard to change though... and I believe you can get the filter cheaper from courtesy or a couple other places...
