You should not have to use POR-15 and truck bedliner. It is either one or the other. POR-15 is very hyrdophobic, so I'm not sure bedliner will stick. Restoring muscle cars, I always prefer POR-15...

if you change all the plugs and the coil pack and the problem still lingers, you may want to test the resistance across the injectors. sputtering could mean bad injectors.

Picked up a 91 VG-5 with 98200 miles for $2200 (mint condition- one owner). Only repairs have been the thermostat and two injectors. Not a big deal if you do the repairs yourself.
