I haven't had a chance to pull apart my trunk yet...

I haven't had a chance to pull apart my trunk yet to take a picture, but I know most keyless systems have a wire not plugged into anything, because thats where a tech would hook up the diagnostic...

Its probably tucked up inside the dash somewhere. Did you check to see if the batteries are any good in your remote? Did the car respond at all when you were trying to enter programming mode?

Hmm, you must have missed the big paragraph about how I bid on and won new remotes and received broken junk 3 times in a row from people who were reputable sellers, and then they denied any refunds.

What does your local dealer charge for Nissan keyless entry remotes?

My Nissan dealer wants $149 a piece plus $35 for programming for each of my cars (97 Maxima, 350Z).

I'm curious to see...

I dont think its illegal - motorcycles dont have...

I dont think its illegal - motorcycles dont have backup lights... It would just be harder to see backing up at night especially if you have dark tint.
