Yup, had the exact problem on my Maxima......

Yup, had the exact problem on my Maxima... resoldered the unit and all is working fine!

The SEs came standard with 17s but you CAN run...

The SEs came standard with 17s but you CAN run 16s withou issue. I run 16" wheel and tire combo in the winter without any problems.

The GXEs came standard with 15" tires I believe!

i think the max is fantastic in the snow... i;ve got four snow tires on the car, and it handles amazingly. No complaints...
